Greg Gjerde was born in Burnsville, Minnesota in 1999 making him 22 years old. Constant moving, and having to readjust to new environments, along with being admitted into several programs for personal help, serve as background and inspiration for Greg's writing and music. Greg has wanted to create music and inspire others since he was in the eighth grade. Greg moved to Oscoda, Michigan in 2017 where he now creates music and works as an independent technician to support his dream.

Greg would be described by his friends as the pinnacle of success and perseverance. A natural sense of positivity and strength, his own life hardships, and his newly seen success as a singer in the world provide many around him with a sense of enlightenment and hope so that they might muster the strength to achieve success themselves.
 

“Lost and Found” was Greg’s first official song released on Soundcloud in 2018. He wrote it from the hardships of his past and used that as motivation in creating his first song. The link to the song had been distributed on Facebook to his friends, and as a result, took off immediately and became his first published work as it gained him many new followers and fans. Many fans and new fans have left comments and messages of support as well as comments relating to their own personal struggles. He then enhanced his professional appearance on Google by the approval of his new status as an American Singer-Songwriter.
 

"Blank Spaces" is Greg's second release which again draws motivation from his past, and takes a slightly different approach in describing the feelings and pain someone goes through in daily life in similar situations. This advanced Greg's status as a new inspirational artist of the time and attracted the attention of his friends and their friends as well. His goal was to not reflect specifically on his own life, but hope to connect to others and become a beacon of hope and reassurance.

Greg's catalog now includes more than ten releases on Spotify, iTunes, and other major platforms for listeners to enjoy. He has taken his music to the stage performing in many productions, including Oscoda, Michigan’s popular “Bash on the Boat” event, the local school's talent show, winning first place, and his first headline concert at Shoreline Theater in Oscoda, in which he performed eight songs to a crowd of over 100.

Greg’s ultimate goal as a singer, songwriter, artist and producer is to inspire others to not give up in life even when hardships arise, and use his experiences in the past as a reminder that not everyone has it easy so he can continue to reinvent himself. Dedicated to his cause and always working on fresh, new music, he is highly motivated to give the world the best he can offer in his music.
